  • Summer is Here in the Valley

    Well it's summer here in Arizona.  Luckily it's only just now getting over 100 but it's not so bad.  I guess we are starting to get used to the heat now.  I'm still having to work out in it a lot now that the summer concert season has started also.  Having fun getting all of those together just long days.  The stations though are talking about moving to a 4 day week so help out with gas prices and allow some of us to work from home 1 day a week also.  So i'm excited about that and hopefully it'll happen sooner than later.  Not much else for me to update on.  Brett is doing great though.  He keeps making great moves at work and they are loving him...why wouldn't they (maybe i'm a bit bias).  He's starting to train to be a director which is really exciting since that's where he's been trying to get.  So I know nothing to exciting really for us here...but life is good and no complaints.  Keep all the updates and pictures coming...love seeing the little ones and families.

  • Hi all,

    Well not much going on here really but thought i'd drop a quick note and say hi.  Brett finished up his semester of school and got a 4.0.  He's doing great at work although we have opposite working schedules so we only get to really see each other thursday night and sundays.
    My job is going alright we've hit concert season again...with a concert ever 2 weeks.  I unfortuantly didn't get the promotion I was going for, they brought in someone from the outside.  So back on the hunt for a job and in the mean time just shopping around for a house maybe in the near future but just looking around to see what's out there. 
    So that's about it.  Oh it hit 110 degrees today but by thursday it should be back to the 80's at least for a lil bit.  So ya that's it.  Keep the updates and all the fun family pictures coming.  Hope you all are doing well.

  • Wow has it been a long time for me to update...thank you Angie...roomie...for reminding me that i've been way out of touch lately.
    Things have been crazy what else is new right.  Brett did get his promotion.  He went full time at the TV Station and is doing great.  He's got a 4.0 so far this semester for school....directed his first short film.  He's had one minor relapse but was easily fixed and better in 2 days...it's been great though hadn't had to take him to the doctors or hospital in 6 months so for only 1 minor relapse not bad.   The doctor is slowly each time figuring out what to do to prevent it from happening again.  He's using the case for one of his medical case studies.  It's an interesting one.
    For me my wonderful job still is holding out on a promotion...plus the company is having other issues so we'll see what's going on.  For me not a lot to update.
    For my family my sister is moving out here to Arizona and my mom got laid off at her job...she's been looking for a new one but it's been about a month now and she still hasn't found anything so if you think about her throw a prayer her way :) 
    So that's really about it for updates on me...besides I love spring here it's perfect weather.  Hope you all are doing well.  Keep updating and thanks for the reminder Angie.

  • Just wanted to say hi, i'm still around, things have been interesting around here lately...very busy, but good for the most part.   My company had huge layoffs some how i missed it and still have a job thank God, but it's been a rough road.  Brett's doing great working and back in school.  I am up for a promotion at work hopefully find out in the next month if I get it or not.  I really am praying I get it because it would slow down my life a lot and actually give me a regular schedule and maybe the chance to start looking at moving into a house and moving on with wanting to start a family.  Brett is also up for a promotion and hopefully find out in the next 2 weeks about that at the TV station.  So like everyone i'm sure life is sure having it's ups and downs, but it's great we are still always able to find the good side of things and that just makes life that much easier. 

    I truly hope you all are doing well and your families.  I know it's getting hard to update as often as we all would like (obviously i'm guilty of that) but I do love to read and see updates on how everyone is doing.
